TV crew robbed at gunpoint live on air in Ecuador

A news crew in Ecuador found themselves in the middle of an unexpected story when they were held up by a man with a gun, live on air. Sports reporter Diego Ordinola was doing a lunchtime broadcast outside a football stadium when a masked assailant approached him, pointed his gun at him and demanded he hand over his phone. Ordinola tried to reason with the man, who then turned his gun on the camera operator. The robbery was, of course, captured on camera, as was the man’s speedy escape on foot.
