The combat operation of the Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems

The combat operation of the Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower systems Russian Airborne Forces unit works in the zone of a special military operation. Crews of the TOS-1A Solntsepyok perform tasks day and night. Radiation, chemical and biological defence specialists of the Airborne Forces inflict crushing blows with 220-mm thermobaric shells on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, burning out their deep shelters, observation and strong points, ammunition caches and artillery positions. Features of the use of flamethrower systems make it possible to effectively destroy fortifications of fortified areas; TOS-1A shells are capable of penetrating and destroying the most protected objects and lightly armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
