The Caimano Nero is a tactical knife delivered to the . (Italian Navy special forces unit) and designed by Extrema Ratio, official COMSUBIN supplier. Its name is a reference and a tribute to the heroic Caimani Neri del Piave (Black Caimans of the Piave river), a unit of the Arditi della Regia Marina (Italian Royal Navy) during the First World War.
