’Fireflies’ Ambient Modular Performance (E370, Morphagene)

After accidently coming up with this interesting E370 patch today, I decided to record an improvisation with it. Later, I manually record a little snippet of the sequence into Morphagene at double speed to add a new layer over the top. Subtle bass and pad added in post. It looks as though the audio and video are out of sync, but they’re ’m using the Keystep only to select the next notes played. I’m not even sure how this patch is actually working this way, but I found it quite inspiring. Recorded direct to SD card on the Zoom R16. Some compression and limiting was added in post.
