Controlling OP-1 with USB MIDI

I wanted to unleash a wider range of notes from OP-1, which is limited to two octaves. With my Korg Kross as a MIDI controller through Logic Pro X’s built-in External MIDI routing, I was able to make this happen: 1. Connect OP-1 MIDI Controller via USB to computer 2. Launch Logic Pro X 3. Create a new External MIDI Instrument 4. Set MIDI Destination to OP-1 Midi Device, being sure to check the box for “Use External instrument plug-in” 5. Jam with more keys, velocity sensitivity, and some awesome pitch bend. Synth: Teenage Engineering OP-1 (Cluster engine) Recorder: Zoom H2n Camera: Canon SL3 w 50mm f1.8 lens INSTAGRAM:
