The Monster Park

July 1st-3rd 2005: 24 of the worlds top freeride mountain bikers were invited to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia to compete in the second annual slopestyle event known as the Bike Magazine Monster Park. Not only did the riders help design the course, but the also judged each other during the competition to see who would go home with first place and $4500 bucks. The riders were broken into two groups with one judging the other. After two heats of riding, 12 riders moved to the finals with the other 12 left to judge. Top podium spots went to Darren Berrecloth in first, Thomas Vanderham in second, and Jamie Goldman in third. For more info check out .
