It dates to 1951. The Crespi estate, now known as the Crespi Hicks Estate, is considered by some to be the finest estate home in America. It is found in Mayflower Estates, a Preston Hollow neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. The film begins with shots of the Crespi estate in Dallas, Texas. Built in the 1930s by an Italian-born cotton baron, Pio Crespi, the French chateau-inspired house is covered in Indiana limestone and decorative is believed that the man shown in the film is Crespi, but this has not been confirmed.
