Squirrel Feeder Webcam in a Garden in Sheffield

This is a stream from my garden in Sheffield in Northern England. It focuses on the little squirrel feeder, which is near the bird bath at the top of the garden. It’s been in place for well over a year but hasn’t had its own stream until now. For a while I had a separate house/box for the squirrels but as I had no trees big enough where they might use it to nest in, it turned into just another place to feed them. As that is no more, I thought the squirrels deserved their own stream again, for those who enjoy watching them. The feeder is usually filled with sunflower hearts. I find the squirrels will eat them there and then and not be inclined to stash them. After some hints from the neighbours about plants being dug out, I had to cut back on anything bigger, but sometimes will lay down some hazelnuts/walnuts or other treats. The sunflower hearts are fun because the squirrels tend to stick around for longer though! Also, it keeps them away from the bird feeders! Sometimes, we get an adventurous wood pigeon feeding here who has figured out the feeder! Also, other birds sometimes land and pick up scraps left behind by the squirrel. This feeder camera is one of multiple views in and around my garden where I feed the birds and badgers and foxes too at night! Check out the multi-cam feed which has this cam, a chat room and many other views. 🎬 I also have a couple of nest boxes which have their own multi-cam feed too! 🎬 Enjoy!
