The Flames of Paris, Actors’ pas de deux

Following the plot, an actress Mireille de Poitiers (here Marina Kondratieva) and her friend, an actor Antoine Mistral (Valery Lagunov, both from the Bolshoi) dance this Pas de Deux, choreographed by Vassily Vainonen, in the 2nd act, during a royal festivity in Versailles. The female variation was performed often at concerts and is known as Lully’s Gavotte.
