It is a popular tourist attraction, but also a controversial neighborhood with several human trafficking and crime issues. In 2007, Project 1012 was launched to improve the approach to these problems and to redevelop the neighbourhood. Since then, various measures have been taken to reduce nuisance and improve the quality of living and accommodation. De Wallen, ook wel bekend als de Rosse Buurt, is een wijk in het centrum van Amsterdam bekend om zijn rode verlichte ramen, prostitutie en coffeeshops. Het is een populaire toeristische attractie, maar ook een controversiële buurt waar verschillende pro
