Best Horizontal and Scout Carry Knives - Tested and Reviewed

We have tested dozens of horizontal and scout carry knives over the last three years. The knives covered in this article are as follows: Esee Izula 2, Sog Altair, Reiff F4, Condor SBK, Off-Grid Hoglet and Bradford Guardian 3. Our hands on tests of these knives included a variety of tasks from chopping, to carving with a mix of batoning and feather sticking. We also opened a lot of beer bottles with them. Most of the knives we chose for this video have blades under 4 inches, because we find that smaller knives are more convenient for horizontal carry.
