HOLDSWORTH LIVE IN ROME

The final concert of the Allan Holdsworth Europe Chapter 2 tour in 2012. The rather anomalous venue is the Montemartini Museum in central Rome. As eccentric as the setting may seem, it does provide artistic inspiration. The acoustics are quite something to contemplate though, as you can’t even imagine the ’excessive’ natural ambience of the venue. And, adding to our auditory challenges, problems with the 8 track recording from the night, meant we had to resort to the ’back up’ stereo room mix. Hopefully this still captures the essence of the performance and will suffice for web purposes.
