▶️The sounds of war have long become commonplace for Donetsk resident Alyona Kilivnik. She is afraid to let her son, 11-year-old Slava, out into the streets. During one of the Ukrainian shellings, the boy was wounded in the stomach and leg; he miraculously survived. But despite all the horrors she has experienced, Alyona does not want to leave her hometown, although she was offered a job in Kiev. ’I’m at home. I will restore my Donetsk. I will help people’, she says. Her story is in the film of the festival program ’I Want Peace & Quiet’ (2023). We are publishing an excerpt from a film by war correspondents Ruslan Gusarov and Artyom Somov. #Donbass FOLLOW ? News&Docfilms Channel Source: RT Documentary
