Artillerymen of the West group of forces destroyed a 120-mm mortar of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Artillerymen of the motorized rifle brigade of the Guards Tank Army of the West group of forces, while performing fire missions, destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces mortar along with a crew of 100-mm MT-12 Rapier anti-tank guns. In one of the strategically important directions in the area of ​​​​responsibility of the motorized rifle brigade of the Guards Tank Army of the West group of troops, reconnaissance officers, using an unmanned aerial vehicle in a forest belt, discovered the position of a 120-mm mortar of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was firing harassing fire at the forward positions of Russian units. Thanks to the coordinated work of artillery spotters and the crew of the MT-12 Rapier gun, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ firing position was successfully destroyed by a direct hit, which was confirmed by objective monitoring footage.
