The result is a treatise mainly dealing with the applications of the golden ratio, whose influence on Renaissance art, architecture and science was truly remarkable. The book features 60 geometrical illustrations that are thought to have been drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. The manuscript was donated by Pacioli to Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, in 1498.
