A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces built an actual raft and swam over the Dnepr river to surrender to the Russians after learning that his batalion was about to be launched into a new meatwave suiside mission. After contacting the Russian side he was instructed on how to build a raft out of empty bottles and ducttape and where his safe exit point would be.
