Mr. P. C. (John Coltrane) - Nord C1 Hammond B-3 Organ Clone Clavia

Here is my arrangement of Mr. P. C. Intro: A walking bass line with lower manual keyboard ’thumps’. Chorus 1: The melody. Chorus 2: The melody, with small embellishments. Chorus 3: The melody, one octave higher. Palm glissandos (downwards then upwards) are starting the melody phrases. Using a pedal tone the last four bars. Chorus 4: The melody, played with the pedal tone one octave higher this time. I’m changing the walking bass line every melody chorus. I’m using lower manual keyboard thumps as a rhythmic device throughout the song. Chorus 5: Solo. Starts with a downwards/upwards palm glissando. Then quite a number of different triplets. E.g. the chorus ends with a four bar quarter note triplet phrase. Chorus 6: Solo. An upwards palm glissando to C, octaved lower. Playing a bit higher up. Chorus 7: Solo. I’m repeting a phrase, and then I’m using a two finger glissando upwards. The chorus ends with a fast downwards staccato triplet
