We explain how to unlock the 120fps output mode in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on the PS5 when connected to a compatible HDMI 2.1 display, for example the LG C1, CX, C9 & the Samsung QN95A. With the “Performance“ and “Performance RT“ [Graphics Mode], the game is still rendered internally at 60fps, but by frame-doubling and letting the PS5 output at 120fps, this will lower the input lag on the display side, leading to an even more responsive gaming experience. Note that due to the 32Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth limitations of the PS5, 4K 120Hz output will be capped at YCC422.
