Steak with Peppercorn Sauce Recipe

*Recipe:* ¼ cup Brandy or Cognac ½ cup beef broth ¼ cup heavy cream 2 tsp crushed black peppercorn 1 cup steamed broccoli (can substitute for any vegetable you enjoy eating!) ¼ cup water 2 tbsp cooking oil 12 oz steak (new york, ribeye, filet mignon, or any tender cut) and generously season both side with salt (about 1 tsp) *Direction:* *Making the peppercorn sauce* Step 1) Add ¼ cup brandy or cognac and heat to medium for 1 minute until the alcohol burns off. Step 2) Add ¼ cup heavy cream, ½ cup beef broth, 2 tsp crushed black peppercorn sauce and heat on medium heat for 5 mins until liquid reduces by half. *Making the side dish* Step 1) Add 1 cup of Broccoli or your favorite vegetable.
