PIXEL SORTING with no plugins in 2-minutes - After Effects - Cyberpunk 2077 VFX

Remaking the Pixel Sorting effect in Cyberpunk 2077. There are some fantastic paid-for plugins out there which help with this process (AE Pixel Sorter 2), but I wanted to do it with the base After Effects tools. This effect is pretty quick to build, but as with everything, there are so many things you can do to improve upon it. This 2-minute tutorial gives you a good starting point to experiment from.
