Track 8 from their sixteenth album “Test for Echo” released in 1996 copyright Anthem Records. It was recorded at Bearsville Studios in Bearsville, New York and Reaction Studios in Toronto. Bearsville was chosen for its size as a means to enhance Neil Peart’s drum sound This was Peter Collins’ second consecutive album as co-producer after reuniting with the band a year earlier for “Counterparts.” This album saw the band at the top of their game having returned to a more guitar-based sound and creating excellent songs. The album was another successful release and received above average reviews. It reached No. 25 in the U.K., No. 9 in Finland, No. 3 in Canada and No. 5 on the Billboard chart. It’s been certified Gold in the U.S. and Canada. This was their fourteenth album cover designed by Hugh Syme, who would be involved with all their subsequent releases.
