Firstly, I want to thank everyone that came by and participated in my first ever Charity Event Stream earlier last week.. Never in a million years could I have ever thought I’d come to see the day where so many people grouped together to help a cause that was so dear to my heart.. But it happened - WE reached such a HUGE milestone together, and for that I will always be so very thankful for all of you!! I genuinely have no words to say aside from thank you. You don’t know how much that truly helped. Thank you for always supporting me, for spending time with me and for being you. I want you to know that you guys have made me who I am today, and I would not have it any other way.. (aside from the bullying in chat) (legit what is up with that) (dang bruh..) This song is inspired by something I went through in my past and the pressure I went through as a kid.. I was a very try-hard over-achieving type to be fair (let’s go asian mentality), so this song was somewhat of a ‘vent’ for the things I wish I could’ve said way back then.. I used to be upset because I felt like my childhood was mostly consumed by this type of feeling, but if I can be honest, it definitely changed my perspective on a lot of things now and it made me more grateful and appreciative for the little things in life - so I can say that I no longer hold strong negative emotions for it anymore! SO if you relate to this song in any way, know you’re not alone and your feelings are valid. YOU went through some things but YOU did it! YOU are THAT strong and I am so proud of you ♥ Please know that you are worthy of love, time and attention. You are not alone and you matter so much ♥♥♥ I was honestly very nervous of releasing this at first cos I’m not a singer or a song-writer and I’m not confident in my skills just yet.. but everyone working on this project with me did such an amazing job that I just KNEW I had is the first time I’ve ever made an original song and I could not have asked for a better team! Thank you (and sorry) to udin (audioTopia) for such an amazing job yet again♥ This was worked on for.. What? A YEAR?? And finally, WE GET TO SEE IT RELEASED YIPPEEE!! Thank you for always helping me and over all being such a wonderful and patient friend.. I had such a blast making this goofy fun song with you!! Thank you Masfia for producing such an amazing art piece; This song is about something that I went through in the past, and even though I wrote it before bed while being absolutely delirious, it was that kinda thing that once I put it into words, I felt a sense of relief afterwards.. Thank you so much for helping me heal and tell my story through your amazing artwork!!
