Emanne Beasha - Casta Diva - Bellini (Norma)

Casta Diva” has been my favorite opera aria for a long time and I always wanted to sing it for you. It is the most famous aria of Vincenzo Bellini’s “Norma” from 1831. Norma sings “Casta Diva,” a prayer to the moon goddess for peace. We filmed this at the Citadel in Amman, Jordan. I have been running around these ruins since I was a little kid and it was always a dream of mine to film something here. It’s a magical, ancient place and it felt very cool singing a 200 year old opera here ☺️
