Helmets importance for Kids riding Bicycles

Two years back my elder one Ahan had gone for a stroll on his cycle in our village which hardly has vehicles on the road because of the scarce population there, after some time some one brought him home, he was bleeding his whole shirt was drenched in blood and he was screaming “Amma save me”. Ahan while ridding his cycle fell down from it. When I when to see the place he fell, there was a pool of blood there. Thank god we got immediate medical attention and ended up with 8 stitches thanks to his thick hair. The trauma was real, Ayan was 5 months old then, and it shook me badly! This whole incident would have been different if he just wore a helmet that day….with an empty street , he took it for granted and did not wear it. Another cousin of mine was a coma for a couple of months after he fell off from his bicycle while he hit a speed breaker in his apartment. Accidents with a cycle are so common in kids that we parents have to cautious of the fact of making them wear a helmet. From a
