Emergency at Pomona Yard! NS 12R breaks a knuckle and goes into emergency in Greensboro, NC!!

This was insane! NS 12R was passing us at Norfolk Southern’s Pomona Yard, and as the train was passing us, an air hose from one of the cars separated, and it started to go into emergency. We soon realized why he was going into emergency: a broken knuckle! Because of the broken knuckle, two parts of 12R separated, right before our eyes! Never before have we caught anything this interesting! About an hour or so later, after fixing the knuckle, 12R continues its course northbound. Little did we know, he broke three more knuckles after Pomona, on a single track line. So 12R ends up making a line of northbound trains, just waiting to go north! 12R did not have a good day, that’s for sure! Thanks for watching!
