Koala Bear Cools Off in Car

The adult was away, so it was time to play. A koala bear that had enough of Australian heat parked itself in Tim Whitrow’s car Monday. He’d stopped in a local vineyard, left the air conditioning on and the car doors open for his dog. A curious koala took this as an invitation, and as ’s Stephanie Officer explains, Whitrow had to be creative in order to get the marsupial out.
