Honduras Now Recognizes Beijing, Not US-backed Separatists on Taiwan

The Central American nation of Honduras has announced it no longer recognizes the Republic of China on the island province of Taiwan, and instead now recognizes the People’s Republic of China in Beijing as the sole legitimate government of one China. Honduras joins the vast majority of the world’s nations including even the US, UK, EU, Japan, and Australia; The UN also recognizes Taiwan as a province of China and the PRC as the sole legitimate government of China; Even the ROC’s own constitution recognizes Taiwan is an island province of China, and simply claims the ROC is the sole legitimate government over the entirety of China; Only through US military and political support does the ROC on Taiwan maintain the illusion of “autonomy,“ and this US-sponsored separatism is at the root of US-Chinese tensions; Were the ROC to declare the island province of Taiwan “independent,“ its economy would immediately collapse and would exist solely to host US troops menacing China ahead of major war; References: CNN - Honduras establishes diplomatic ties with China, severs them with Taiwan (March 26, 2023): United Nations - Restoration of the lawful rights of the People’s Republic of China in the United Nations (October 1971): UN - Final Clauses of Multilateral Treaties Handbook (2003): US Department of State - U.S. Relations With Taiwan: Harvard University’s Atlas of Economic Complexity - Taiwan Trade by Partner (2020): Where to Find My Work: Website: Telegram: Twitter: Odysee (YouTube alternative): @LandDestroyer:8 Rumble (YouTube alternative): Weibo: ไบรอัน แฟนคลับ (Facebook): Line Group: Gab: VK (Facebook alternative): How to Support my Work (and thank you!): Buy Me A Coffee: Patreon: PromptPay: 0851547235 Cryptocurrency Donations: Ethereum (ETH): 0xee6ed93c3adc474450011e9af22939a0b9b312c7 BitCoin (BTC): 1AfGnbmHxA6cy9YKUSxysXvpJPyecpBKrr Monero (XMR): 845TCXx3pchSBXuDL7FHG679gbWD2wkHS6MJxuq7jFVsVFj7T6xsry747uhhGZUdkaRXbbrMfo5c8RnGfzGZ13KxQUdHVLR
