Morphine - Take Me With You

Track 11 and final track from their 2000 album The Night. The Night was Morphine’s final album, released in February 2000 after lead singer/songwriter and bassist Mark Sandman died July 3rd, 1999 of a heart attack onstage at a show in Palestrina, Lazio, Italy at the age of 46. The album had been largely completed in early 1999 except for the final mixing process. Morphine broke up shortly after the album’s release. The surviving band members reformed in 2009 as Vapors of Morphine. Also, some of the members of Morphine and the band Face to Face released three albums in the 2000s as Twinemen, named after Mark Sandman’s comic series The Twinemen.
