The Jane Austen House and Museum are located in Chawton, Hampshire. Jane Austen lived in this house in the latter part of her life. The Jane Austen House is a fascinating look at the Life of Jane Austen and gives you insight into her days spend here. The museum holds many personal possessions and the famous writing desk from which she wrote, Northanger Abbey, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma and Persuasion. We take you on a full room by room tour of the house explaining all the interesting stories and features of the Chawton Cottage.
