One is Loki, the other is Surtr, the destroyer. Surtr guards the fiery realm of Múspell, one of the nine worlds impassible by non native beings. On Ragnarök (the apocalypse / great war of the gods), Surtr will come from the south leading the sons of Múspell to battle Freyr, and defeat him.
