Portrait painting in oils 🎨 #shorts

Trying to focus on my painting skills along with my drawing and I really need more runs on the board. It’s a great exercise to complete a drawing and then paint as you find out so much information from the drawing process and it helps when you love doing both! This painting is of January Block-in Bootcamp from Stephen Bauman via patreon. I used a palette inspired by Gustavo Ramos, unfortunately I did not have access to Rembrandt paints for this project so I checked out their paint values and subbed them out.
