MAX EDGE ANGLES | Are you up to the challenge?

’Hip dragging’, ’Ass to grass’, ’getting low’, or whatever you want to call it, carving with high edge angles is an art form that takes skiers many years to master. Carv’s ’Edge angle challenge’ mode is hands down a favourite among our ambassadors and regular users. In the words of Level 4 Alpine Instructor Tom Gellie “I love this one, because It’s a really fun way, for me to push the limits!“ Whether you want to try and ’push your limits’ or not, this mode is a great way to get competitive with yourself as you try and beat your own high score. So how does this challenge work? Carv will tell you your exact edge angle, turn to turn, in real-time through your headphones as you ski. So you’ll know which turns have higher or lower edge angles, as well as know if you have a stronger left or right side. Watch on, as Tom Gellie demos this mode, and hear his edge angles as he carves down the piste. Want to try out the ’Edge Angle Challenge’ yourself?
