Tribute to Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, taiji Chen, Prague, chenstyle taijiquan, 陈小旺

Chen Xiao Wang (陈小旺) was born in 1945 in Chenjiagou village, Wenxian, Heban. He is the former representative of the 7th National Peoples Congress, president of the Chen Style Taijiquan of Henan, Deputy president of the WuShu Association and the WuShu Training Center for Physical Culture and Sports of Henan. Since age 7 he followed his father, Chen ZhaoXu. Later he apprenticed to his grand-uncle Chen ZhaoPi and uncle Chen ZhaoKui. He eventually became the 11th generation inheritor of Chen Shi Taijiquan. He is well known for his mastery of Push hands and Fast Wrestling. From 1980-1982 he was three times champion in the National Tournament of WuShu and Taiji. In 1985 he placed first in the First National Tournament at Xi’an. This was the same year he traveled to Japan to teach Chen Taiji.
