How to start working a garment in English rib after charts - Part 1
In this DROPS video we show how we start working a garment in English rib after charts, like the Mountain Moraine vest in DROPS 210-4 and the Easy Over vest in DROPS 217-13.
We already have worked the neck to 210-4, but we work with fewer stitches than it says in the pattern (the neck in 217-13 is longer). We start the video by showing round 1 where the chart A.1, A.2 and A.3 is worked. We use stitch markers between each chart to get a better overview.
Work pattern as follows: A.1 (= 2 stitches) over the first 4 stitches (= half back piece), A.2 (= 2 stitches), A.1 over 6 stitches, A.3 (= 2 stitches = shoulder), A.1 over 8 stitches (= front piece), A.2 over 2 stitches, A.1 over 6 stitches, A.3 over 2 stitches (= shoulder) and A.1 over the last 4 stitches (= half back piece).
