Beyond: Two Souls - Deleted “The Shaman“ Chapter Area Flythrough

Advanced area design for the deleted Beyond chapter “The Shaman“ has been discovered in an early game build recently released by Kempy161. Though still unfinished, the design already matches the concept art available for this chapter closely as shown at the end. Background: This chapter would have taken place after Briefing and before Dragon’s Hideout in the timeline. Set in Siberia, Russia it was the original 1 of 2 missions to close off a rift. The idea being that the 3 superpowers each created their own condenser/rift technology. Early game data confirms that Dragon’s Hideout takes place in China which was only later changed to a fictional country. The condenser map that is shown during Briefing and Black Sun in the background ironically still shows the 3 locations of the rifts, including the one in Russia, even if it is never mentioned in dialog. The chapter would have seen the squad of Jodie, Ryan, Nick and Vince infiltrate a Russian base that was built on top of a traditional temple close to a village. The team seemingly would have ran into a trap after reaching the rift and had to fight their way back out, ultimately sealing the rift off with explosives and escaping with a truck
