New video released on Saturday, April 17 at Baladi El Show organized by @macabellydancer @raqsdanza Dedicated to Puerto Rico & Egypt. The world “baladi” (from Arabic بلدي) translate to “my country”. My new video will showcase “La Plaza de Santurce”, a traditional market where during the day you can find fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other local products. When I went to Cairo markets for the first time it reminds me Puerto Rico with a different taste. Two different settings with one same impulse of life, working for their families and for a better future, working from their country “Baladi” (بلدي). My great grandfather was a farmer, he used to come to the city to sell his fruits and vegetables, this video is dedicated to him too.
