In this astrophotography processing tutorial, I’m going to show you my complete Pixinsight workflow of the Sombrero Galaxy and I’m going to include my data for free, so you can follow along. In my last video, I went over how I captured the Sombrero Galaxy using two different cameras and why I did this. You can watch it here: I used the ASI533mc Pro camera for RGB data and the ASI183mm Pro camera for Luminance data. This Pixinsight image processing workflow will show you how to align both sets of data to each other, and then process them to be combined together as an LRGB image.
