The Spider Song - Fretless Bass and Vocals

I recorded The Spider Song last night. The lyrics are about a big spider I see during my smoke breaks at work. He lives in a hole in the wooden fence. I was feeling down the other day, and as I looked at him, I thought it would be nice to crawl inside a dark hole sometimes. You can tell I’m reading the lyrics (I still messed up but nvm) and I forgot to repeat the riff at the end. It’s quite hard to sing and play fretless bass at the same time so this will do for now. There’s a ton of reverb and chorus and other effects, I also added lower and higher harmonies in the chorus because it felt a bit bare without them. When I’m on a smoke break  And look at my friend  I wonder if his life too Might be coming to an end  Does his tube-shaped heart weigh much  Mine is bursting from the strain Cause I gave it with such ease To the ones I’ve loved in vain Oh to be you Can I crawl inside  Please take me home  I’ll come in disguise  We look alike  I’m ugly as sin Safe in your hole  Bite marks on my skin Wish I had as many eyes Picking preys must be a breeze  I’m too sensitive for games It’s all part of my disease  In a sea of legs, caught in webs Must be doing something right “Can you teach me some good tricks, fellow creature of the night?“ Oh to be with you  Can I crawl inside Please take me home  I’ll come in disguise  We look alike  You’re ugly as sin Lost in your hole  I end and begin  Oh to be you Please take me home  To be like you  I’ll be with you
