Quebec election 2022: Anglade says Liberals will “represent all Quebecers from all stripes”

Despite a close race in Quebec’s provincial election Monday, Quebec Liberal Leader Dominique Anglade is set to hold on to her seat in the Saint-Henri–Sainte-Anne riding in Montreal. The party will also remain the official Opposition in Quebec’s national assembly. Anglade said in her speech afterwards that “we will represent all Quebecers from all stripes.” François Legault‘s Coalition Avenir Québec will form the next government in Quebec after cruising to a commanding majority for a second time.
