In today’s episode, Franco walks you through his routine that helped him build one of the most muscular and wide backs from the Golden Era. It took a lot of hard work, 100’s of hours in the gym and of course trial and error to discover the most effective exercises that stimulated growth in his traps, terres major, lats , rear deltoids and more. Let’s take a look into his book from 1977 titled: Winning Bodybuilding; chapter 7 “The Back” and “Franco Columbu’s Complete Book of Bodybuilding “ from 1982 and get started. Franco incorporated a variety of exercises that developed thickness in the back using various rowing movements and to build width, he used wide grip Chins and machine lat pull downs.
