Brioche Knit Tips: The Brioche 6 Stitch Unwrapped Decrease (br6st Uw dec)

Brioche unwrapped decreases are different than traditional brioche stitch decreases because they do not allow the wraps in the contrasting color to peek through on the right side of the piece. With the 6st unwrapped decrease your knitting look neater because the 2 yarn colors will not mix and obscure your stitch pattern as you form each stitch. They have less directionality than traditional decreases in a 2-color brioche stitch pattern. The standard written and chart notation are shown as well as how to form the stitch. Find patterns that use this stitch on Ravelry, such as the Blooming Brioche shawl.
