An old demo from when we introduced Jay Z to Big Daddy Kane in my man Fresh Gordon’s crib (Home Studio) our old hang out and is essentially how and why Jay Z got discovered. Everybody used to stop by. One day myself, Gordon and all mentioned in the demo were just chillin in da crib and Jazz now “Jazz O“ brought over Jay Z and The Shirt kings Nike and Phade, we was sittin back relaxin eatin drinkin and chatin then the door bell rang and it was Big Daddy Kane who lived down the block at the time with a few of his peeps , then the crib started gettin crowed so Gordy turned on the set so Kane can hear Jazz rap and maybe get him a record deal Jay Z was invited to rap also Brothers started freestylin but Kane liked JAY Z better... the rest is history!
