Jamuary 2021 Day 6: Microfreak, Typhon, Specular Reverb

This is an experiment I’ve wanted to do ever since I bought the Typhon. It has an external audio input, which passes through its filter and effects. So here I’m sending the audio of the Microfreak into the Typhon, but I’m also playing the Typhon with MIDI from the MF at the same time. I’m using the virtual analog oscillator on the MF, which is tuned an octave up so the Typhon is on bass duty. When you press and hold the “paraphonic“ button on the MF, you can select up to 4 notes to play a chord or interval, which stays in scale when you enable the scale mode. I’ve selected a major third interval, which makes it interesting to play notes across the keyboard. Reverb by the Specular.
