Flamenco Pop, the result of the pop mutation of flamenco, term coined in the late 60s by Alfonso Santisteban, Adolfo Waitzman & Augusto Algueró who defined the genre and took it to the charts. The influences were many: from couplets to boleros, from Bristish beat to lounge music.
