US universities lose billions of dollars, thousands of admins to lose their jobs.

US universities are seeing a collapse in the number of China students coming to the US. This is being felt across hundreds of universities, who are losing tens of millions of dollars, each. At the University of Miami, for example, the drop in Chinese students has caused deficits of $59 million in their 4-year school, and over $20 million in their business school. University administration is just one of the industries which will be wiped out in this decade, because of competition from China. Ironically, much of the administrative bloat on college campuses since 2000 has only been possible because of US universities’ popularity among wealthy Chinese families. These families typically pay full tuition, full room-and-board, and dump billions of dollars into the local economies of our universities and colleges. Now the Chinese are going elsewhere, and so is their money. So, then, will most of these jobs.
