Tradição do Presépio no Algarve

Em todas as casas portuguesas e um pouco por todo o mundo, há a tradição de recriar o nascimento de jesus, através da montagem de um presépio. Mas poucos conhecem a a história associada a esta tradição. Conta o Cónego José Pedro Martins, Prior da Sé de Faro: «O vocábulo presépio é de origem hebraica e significa etimologicamente manjedoura.
