I felt I wanted something that wasn’t just sea and rocks, so when I came across this scene with the added interest of the rustic tower, I knew it had all the ingredients I was looking for. Whilst the tower itself has some stone-work detail, this subject is all about atmosphere and light, plus trying to capture some feeling of action in the crashing waves.
