Medusa Mixed Media Collage Painting. Art Nouveau Inspired

Hello!!! It’s mixed media collage time! This is the third installment in my art nouveau inspired mythology series. Medusa has a sad story and I have a soft spot for her. So, I did not one, but two concept sketches. One with charcoal and one with graphite and illustration pens. The most challenging part of this project was keeping track of all the snakes and the collage papers I made and cut out. So many pieces... I think it was worth it in the end, but I was happy when that part of the process was completed. I had to film a lot of the footage in timelapse mode just because of the amount of detail and time it took to complete. It would take me an entire day to edit that amount of footage and I just don’t have that kind of time. If I didn’t have a full-time job, I could invest more time into things like that.
