Animation of China’s Shenzhou-11 Spacecraft Docking with Tiangong-2 Space Lab

Shenzhou-11, China’s sixth manned spacecraft which was successfully launched on Monday, will dock with the Tiangong-2 space lab on Wednesday early morning. After changing its orbit five times, the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft will be 52 kilometers behind the Tiangong-2 space lab. Then the two will enter the state of automatic control. While the spacecraft will chase the space lab, the two will decelerate for adjustments at four mooring points which are 5 kilometers, 400 meters, 120 meters, and 30 meters.
