The Radio Three (1935)

Titles read: ’NOW Pathe Pictorial has pleasure in presenting - Another favourite “Turn“ on the air - THE RADIO THREE in “Blue Moon“.’ Pathe Studio, London. Various shots of the three women who make up the Radio Three singing ’Blue Moon’ (by Rogers and Hart) at the grand piano. One of the women plays the accompaniment. In the middle of the song they break into a brief section of Irving Berlin’s ’Blue Skies’. I think this act is quite good - a bit like the Boswell Sisters only more ’English’. Shots are intercut showing scenic views of the sky and moon (or sun?). FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
